Cam and Elle dive deep into something that transformed our approach to relationships: celibate dating.
We know this might sound old-school, but this is not about restriction (or religion of any kind) - it's about creating space to truly know someone's heart and mind without physical intimacy clouding your judgment.
When you remove that element, you start noticing things you might have missed before: their energy, their values, how they handle stress, whether they truly respect your boundaries.
We found that celibate dating helped us: - Focus on emotional connection first - Avoid the oxytocin "love" bond that sometimes makes us overlook red flags - Develop stronger communication skills - Really understand what we want in a partner and if the person we were dating had these qualities
And on top of that... after we made that commitment to ourselves, we met each other in a yoga studio!
