If you've been following this podcast from the beginning, we will have explored together the stories and insights of incredible individuals who have reached that magical tipping point of moving from striving to being in flow. Over a hundred episodes have featured interviews with inspiring business owners, philanthropists, thought leaders and game changers. The wisdom shared by these amazing guests became the foundation for my third bestselling book, Be Brilliant. However, along this journey, something interesting happened. Many of you have reached out and asked for more. More of my story, more of my business journey and more of what I have learnt. Surprisingly, there has also been a demand for more solo episodes. Although it’s much easier to put the spotlight on someone else, I’ve decided to take the advice of a wise individual who once told me to "do it scared." So here I am, doing it scared, with a simple intention to serve you by sharing what I have learnt. Buckle up, my friends.     You know the feeling—you've just had an incredible coffee chat with a prospective client. They loved your energy, called you inspiring and you walked away thinking, "This could be something amazing." But then... nothing. Radio silence. Another lovely conversation that leads absolutely nowhere whilst your calendar stays frustratingly empty. In this episode, we're tackling the uncomfortable truth: you're probably brilliant at building connections but not quite as good at converting them.

    The problem isn't that people don't value you—it's that you never invite them to go deeper. They're actually waiting for you to show them how. I share the story of a client who was having amazing conversations but freezing at the critical moment of transition. Once she shifted from fear of appearing salesy to simply extending a gracious invitation, she gained two new clients within a week. What you need isn't more connections; it's conversion.

    I'm sharing five practical strategies for moving into a more human-to-human sales approach that feels authentic, beautiful and even fun. We'll explore how to be crystal clear about your value, lead with curiosity over pitching, create inviting opportunities, follow up with grace and show up as your true self. I like to think of it as finding someone who wants to dance with me—not selling, but seeing if we're meant to move together. Because at the end of the day, it's the cash in your bank that pays the bills and keeps your business in business.

    We all know what it sounds like. The critical voice that questions every decision, second-guesses every success, and whispers "maybe I'm not ready" when opportunity knocks. But here's what changes everything: making the worth shift. It's the moment you stop listening to that inner critic and start trusting the voice that got you this far—the one that knows your value isn't up for debate.

    Often we doubt our value and ask, "Why would anyone want to talk to me?" even when our achievements speak volumes. But when you step into your power and show up with authenticity and conviction, the game changes.

    It's time to stop questioning your worth and start embracing it. Own your capabilities with conviction and stop seeking permission. Your pricing should reflect mastery, not fear of losing a client. The clients who align to your pricing are the people that you want to serve and the people that value you. It's about positioning yourself as the expert that you are.

    So here's my challenge to you. What's one action you can take this week to show up in your power? Maybe it's that phone call you've been avoiding, saying no to an opportunity that doesn't fit, or finally having that brave conversation. Whatever it is, seize it. You're not here to be affordable and blend in with the crowd. You're here to be bold, brilliant, and powerfully unforgettable.

    We're living at a peculiar moment in time, aren't we? Clients seem hesitant, projects stall and social media's doing its own thing. I found myself recently, mid-conversation with my dog, questioning what I even control anymore. That little existential moment led to today's reflection: reclaiming your power. Let’s talk about how to grow a brilliant business – even when the world's a bit nuts.

    In this episode, I dive deep into Stephen Covey's concept of the three concentric circles of concern, influence and control—a framework that's been my guide through some of the murkiest moments of my business journey. We explore the Circle of Concern, where we lose sleep over things like the economy and client ghosting but can't actually control any of it. Then we move to the Circle of Influence, where it gets exciting—leveraging your energy to make a real difference without expecting total control. Finally, we reach the Circle of Control, where true magic happens and you decide how you show up, what you say yes to and what you decline.

    Every moment presents a choice: succumb to chaos or ground yourself in clarity. When you prioritise powerfully, you build unstoppable momentum. So here's my challenge for you: decide on one action you have complete control over and take it. Start small if you must, but reclaim focus from frustration.
