    In Episode 005, we continue in our 4-part series going through the 4 phases of training to get you to that A-race fit and ready to go, specifically in the context of long distance triathlon. The 4 phases include Form, Speed, Force, and Focus.

    In this episode we jump into our second phase of training called “Speed Phase”. We discuss the purpose, what mindset we want our athletes to be in, share example workouts, and talk about the adaptations you can expect to occur.

    In Episode 004, we have a very special guest who is one of the most dedicated professional athletes we've come to know and have the privilege of training with every week.... Haley Chura!!!

    She takes us from her bike crash that ended her 2024 season early through her 2025 season opener at Ironman Texas, earning a super impressive 7th Place finish and a KQ. Only listen if you want to be inspired!!! More on our amazing guest below.

    Haley Chura took the leap into racing triathlon professionally in 2013, leaving her accounting job behind and finding quick success with a win at Ironman 70.3 New Orleans two weeks later. She has quite the endurance pedigree as a 3x Olympic trials qualifier; 2x in swimming and 1x in the marathon. She’s also had many Ironman and 70.3 podium finishes and wins, finishing the 2024 season ranked 32nd overall in the PTO World rankings. A multisport coach, occasional blogger and aspiring stick figure artist, with the brightest kit on course, Haley Chura is an impressive athlete and human and we're honored to have her as our first guest on the TrainAnything Show!
