Amy Wattles needs no introduction in the world of Grip Strength. She's Competed in everything from Strongman (earning her ASC Pro Card), Highland Games, Grip Sport, and even Steinholding. She's been featured in MILO magazine, set numerous world records in Grip along the way, and is actively competing and still claiming records. Amy has been instrumental in inspiring women to get into grip strength competitions and has led the way by example since 2012. She joins the show to discuss key moments in her competitive career and to talk about the sport moving forward. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! First Grip Show news of 2025 is Eric Roussin stopping by to reveal the event lineup for this year's King Kong Grip Challenge. This is the longest running and biggest multivenue grip competition in the world. Last year had 373 total competitors across the world competing. The Alpha Grip Competition was hosted by Nate Phillips in Newark, OH. It featured a mix of veteran lifters with some newer lifters. The events contested were Double Overhand Axle (Rogue), 3" Saxon Bar (Armassassin Strength Shop), Rogue Anvil, and the Ironmind Rolling Thunder. The overall winner was Jason Dingey with Cliff Kiener coming in 2nd Place. Tune in for more competition details!

Aggy St-Jacques Set a new record for Ironmind by completing 20 Strict Pull Ups while hanging from two Rolling Thunder Handles. The previous record was 15reps held by Tammy McClure. Aggy managed to knock this amazing feat of strength out prior to competing in the King Kong Grip Challenge. She went on to win the women's 63kg weight class and placed 13th Overall out of 80 women's competitors in the Open weight category. Aggy gives us some info about her climbing background, her training, and her thoughts about the sport moving forward.

The World's Strongest Grip Competition will be held in conjunction with The Odd Haugen Strength Classic at the LA Fit Expo on Jan. 25/26th 2025. Odd and Will sit down to discuss the numerous strength competitions that will be held that weekend. For her 4th time Sarah Chappelow has earned the title "Queen Kong Of Grip" winning the Women's overall division. She joins the show with the 2nd Place overall finisher Tammy McClure.
