• 8 - Seeded. Periods, Hormones and a Toolkit of Wellness with Bee & Ray.
    2025/06/03

In this episode of Seeded, Kyla sits down with Bee and Ray for a real, unfiltered conversation about periods, pain, perimenopause, and everything we were never taught about our bodies.

From the awkwardness of first bleeds and being put on the pill way too young, to hormone-fuelled migraines and the shame that still lingers around menstruation - we go there.

With stories that will make you laugh, cringe, and maybe feel a little less alone, we talk about how food, plant medicine, and giving ourselves permission to rest have helped us reconnect with our cycles in a way our younger selves never could have imagined.

    Topics we cover:

    • Why migraines, mood swings, and anxiety might not be “just stress”
    • What happened when we finally started tracking our cycles
    • How CBD and THC can support painful periods and perimenopause
    • The wild side effects of hormonal contraception (and how we figured it out the hard way)
    • Replacing shame with sisterhood, and painkillers with proper toolkits
    • Why we should all be journaling, celebrating our bleed, and maybe building a hut

  • 4 - Seeded. A Quick Chat on Psychedelics - What’s Your Approach? With Bee Mohamed & Ray Steele.
    2025/05/06

In this short seeded episode, I sit down with Ray and Bee where we are dipping into the world of psychedelics - not a deep dive (that’s coming later).

We ask the question: What’s your approach to psychedelics?

Is it about breakthroughs, preparation, or just another tool in the self-discovery kit?

This one’s about personal takeaways, misconceptions, and why what you do after the trip might just matter more than the trip itself.

  • 3 - Stripped of Relief: Fight for Medical Cannabis in Hospital with Sharna Stewart.
    2025/04/30

When pain is constant, medicine becomes sacred. So what happens when the system takes it away?

Sharna lives with fibromyalgia, a condition that brings relentless, widespread pain. Through trial and error, she found relief with legal medical cannabis—until she enters the hospital. Each time she’s admitted for care, her cannabis is confiscated and she’s put back on opioids, a medication that makes her violently ill. In this deeply personal conversation, Sharna shares the physical and emotional toll of being denied the medicine that works for her.

It’s a story of resilience, and the ongoing battle for patient rights in a system that still hasn’t caught up with the science—or the humanity. I’m grateful to Sharna for her time today so lets spark up this conversation

    Sharna can be contacted @fibroadvocate1
