  • Speaking from Silence Episode 10: Being unmoving
    2025/04/07

How do you react when the world seems to move towards, away, or against you? In the moment of a trigger, it can be a challenge to be still internally.

What's here if you don't move?

When we are unmoving, depth is here. It's possible to show up as silence and love. This is where compassion lives.

How can you examine your own movement? Then, how can you be unmoving in the experience of any trigger?

Intro music is by Jonas and Maeve's classmate Franz Peters and his band What Matters the Most, song title “Mahaya." Closing music is “Choices” by What Matters the Most.

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 9: Indulging in self-betrayal
    2025/03/28

What is self-betrayal? When we are aware of something that distracts us from silence, and then consciously indulge in it because it’s tasty. This betrays the truth.

Telling ourselves stories about what is happening in any moment is a way we try to avoid, control, or manage emotions. Stories may seem to distract us from emotions, but they are a heavy burden to carry, and they distract us from peace.

It’s possible to see through this indulgence in narrative; to stop believing all stories, and in that, to stop betraying the truth. Quiet is here.

Even in the midst of an intense emotion coming up, silence is still here.

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 8: Seeing through self-hatred and “trying to fix”
    2025/03/20

How is it to show up in complaint, versus to show up in the depth of being love?

Many of us create a belief that something is wrong, and look for proof of that. To live life from there is immensely depressing. We imagine ourselves to be the center of the universe, taking things personally.

It’s possible to see through these stories, through this false identity, to find clarity around who you really are, around what your life is about. Clarity about love. What if love has no beginning and no end?

What if peace doesn’t end after you lost track of it? How would it be if you could meet triggers as love, and learn from them?

Love doesn’t end. You are natural.

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 7: The Grace of Clarity
    2025/03/13

What do you want? Can you sense or feel a clear answer to that question?

If you let the answer come from a level that isn’t mental, can you get in touch with what you want, right now?

If you are touched by the possibility of being yourself, it’s clear. The grace of clarity sees through everything at the surface, no matter how muddled.

It’s not about having practical answers or finding a certain process that everyone can follow. It’s about surrendering into yourself, and that is beyond words.

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 6: What is “Speaking from Silence”?
    2025/03/06

Speaking from Silence is a living exercise in telling the truth, and speaking from a place of direct experience.

What if there’s nothing to get? What’s deeper than these words?

Something natural can be nourished and deepened by spending time in contact with others who are internally quiet.

It’s possible to listen and speak from a place of judgment and fear, or you can be quiet and open. An internal exhale.

And whether these words make sense or not, may they reveal to you something deeper that’s experienced directly for yourself.

Intro music is by Jonas and Maeve's classmate Franz Peters and his band What Matters the Most, song title “Mahaya." Closing music is “Choices” by What Matters the Most.

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 4: The vulnerability of saying nothing
    2025/02/20

It’s possible to ask ourselves now, is this getting you what you want? The divide that occurs when we’re talking to ourselves is a setup for never being complete.Seeing that, what could happen if you stopped? Many of us are so absorbed in talking to ourselves that we don’t question it. Yet this habit is an expression of separation – from self, from life, from everything. It often begins with an innocent thought to improve something. What does it mean to stop doing that? What if silence is here? Intro music is by Jonas and Maeve's classmate Franz Peters and his band What Matters the Most, song title “Mahaya."

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 3: Who am I?
    2025/02/13

Ramana Maharshi gave us a transmission of silence.Ramana woke up in 1896 at the age of 16, and spent the rest of his life radiating his realization. He gave us the question “Who am I?” – a question that is a gateway into realizing the truth. The gift of this question, and the flavour of this inquiry, takes away everything that is imagined. It has been passed down from Ramana to Papaji to Eli Jaxon-Bear, and now through the Leela School of Awakening to us. Now we share it with you: Who is the one who is doing something? How can we find the source of ourselves? Who am I? What do you find when you don’t already know? Intro music is by Jonas and Maeve's classmate Franz Peters and his band What Matters the Most, song title “Mahaya."
