Confidence is rooted in a sense of self-worth, and as mothers, we are our daughters’ first mirrors. Praise her efforts, not just her outcomes. When she sees that her hard work, creativity, or problem-solving are celebrated, she’ll learn that her value is not tied to perfection but to her character.

Confidence without kindness can come across as arrogance. Kindness without confidence can feel like self-sacrifice. Show her how to walk this middle path. She can say “no” firmly while remaining respectful. She can lead with strength while lifting others along the way.
