    2025/01/10
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 James 1:19

The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. -Psalms 132:11

    DEVOTION
    Based on Psalm 132
Tonight’s psalm highlights the faithfulness of God to keep His promises. God’s covenant with David was not only a promise for his time but a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ, the eternal King from David’s lineage. This verse reminds us that God’s promises are sure and unchanging, offering us hope and security in His plans for our lives.

Take a moment to meditate on God’s faithfulness. Breathe out doubt and uncertainty, and breathe in the assurance of His truth. Trust that the same God who kept His promise to David is faithful to fulfill His promises to you.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Praise God for His unchanging truth and faithfulness. Rejoice in the beauty of His covenant-keeping nature and His steadfast commitment to His Word. Celebrate His sovereignty as the eternal King who reigns with justice and love.

CONFESSION: Reflect on moments when you’ve struggled to trust God’s promises. Confess those doubts and ask for a heart that rests fully in His truth and faithfulness.

THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the promises He has fulfilled throughout your life and history. Express gratitude for His faithfulness to David and the gift of Jesus, the eternal King who reigns forever.

SUPPLICATION: Father, I thank You for Your promises that never fail. Help me to trust in Your faithfulness, even when I cannot see the full picture. Strengthen my faith in Your plans and guide me to rest in the assurance of Your truth. Let Your faithfulness bring peace to my heart tonight and hope for the future.

    PRAYER
“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath”
    JAMES 1:19
Dear Heavenly Father, You are the keeper of wisdom, and no word You speak is ever wasted. You are intentional with Your words, attentive to our prayers, and patient with Your actions. I pray You would make me more like You. Reign in my tongue and keep me from saying things I will regret. Please give me an attentive ear to truly listen to those around me. And hold me back from acting out of anger. I trust that through the guidance of Your word, power of Your spirit, and comfort of Your love, I can truly heal my relationships. In Jesus’ name, Amen.🙏🏾

  • Episode 1217 - Jarvis Kingston God doesn’t call the great; He makes them great. Trust His promise, step out in faith, and embrace the change
    2025/01/09
Your Daily Prayer 🙏🏾 Genesis 12:3

Greatness isn’t about where you start but where faith takes you.

Reflect on Abram’s journey: God doesn’t call the great; He makes them great. Trust His promise, step out in faith, and embrace the transformation ahead.
    STORY
Bible in a Year: Abram and Sarai
    Scripture
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

    Genesis 12:3
What does it mean to be great? And how does one become great? God told Abram to leave the comforts and familiarity of his home, and He would make him “great.” We know very little about Abram before God called him on this adventure. We know very little about his background, personality, or previous accomplishments. That’s on purpose. God did not choose Abram because he WAS great. God chose Abram and promised to MAKE him great.

Jesus gave a similar call to His disciples. He said, “Follow me, and I will MAKE you fishers of men.”

It doesn’t matter who you were when God called you. He is far more concerned with who you will become once you follow Him.

Abram said yes to God’s invitation to embark on a grand adventure. Following God would lead to terrors and triumphs beyond Abram’s wildest dreams. But faith and struggle are necessary in pursuit of greatness. Like Abram, we are called to be pilgrims and pioneers, stepping out in faith, even when the destination is unclear. His story is a testament to trusting God's promises and looking forward to fulfilling His purposes. It is about leaving behind the old and embracing the new, setting out on a journey that transforms us and, through us, the world.
    REFLECTION
Consider what "Harans" you might be clinging to—the familiar things or places you are being called to leave in order to step into a deeper relationship with God. Ask yourself: “Am I missing out on great things in life because I am too content with the good things in life?”

    Share God’s story with the world 🗺️ 🌎 🌍 🌎

    PRAYER
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
    GENESIS 12:3
As the seasons of uncertainty and adventure begin… like Abram, give me the courage to move without hesitation. Give me the ability to see life through Your eyes so that the journey to my destiny doesn’t overwhelm me causing me to hesitate and miss what You have for me Lord. From this moment on I declare that I will move in faith and power as I take steps in the direction of my promised land, decreeing that everything my feet touch has already been established and given to me. I will not use manipulation and lies to try to protect myself or the ones I love but rather through honesty and trust in the Lord I know that everything will work out for my good. Thank You Jesus that even though, like Abram, I Try to take things into my own hands, Your grace and love is enough to redirect my steps and set me on the right path. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.🙏🏾

  • Episode 1216 - Jarvis Kingston MY SOUL WAITS FOR THE LORD Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. Proverbs 17:9. Breaking News !
    2025/01/08
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 17:9

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
    Psalm 130:1
    DEVOTION
    Based on Psalm 130
Tonight’s psalm speaks to those moments when we feel overwhelmed, lost, or at our lowest. It reminds us that in the depths of despair, we can cry out to the Lord, and He hears us. God is not distant from our struggles; He meets us in the depths, offering His comfort and hope.

Take a moment to reflect on any burdens weighing you down. Breathe out the heaviness of your struggles, and breathe in the assurance that God hears your cries. Trust that He is near, ready to lift you out of the depths and into His peace and light.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Praise God for being present in your darkest moments. Reflect on His unfailing love and His willingness to meet you where you are, no matter how deep your struggles. Rejoice that He is a God who listens and cares deeply for His children.

CONFESSION: Bring before God the times when you’ve doubted His presence in your hardships. Confess any feelings of hopelessness or attempts to face the depths on your own. Ask Him to renew your trust in His ability to lift you up.

THANKSGIVING: Thank God for hearing your cries and for the comfort He provides in the midst of despair. Express gratitude for His faithfulness in meeting you in the depths and guiding you back into His peace.

SUPPLICATION: Father, I cry out to You from the depths of my heart. Lift me from the struggles I face and remind me of Your nearness. Fill me with hope and courage, knowing You are my refuge and strength. Let Your peace quiet my soul tonight and bring me rest in Your care.

    PRAYER
“He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.”
    PROVERBS 17:9
Dear Lord, I am blessed and thankful that You have covered my transgressions. Because of Christ’s work on the cross, my mistakes no longer define me. I am a new creation, crafted by grace for a new purpose. I pray for Your guidance as I seek to heal relationships that have been broken by sin, pettiness, and selfishness. I pray You would help me rise above my old patterns of behavior, and take the high road every time. I know with Your Spirit, I can be empowered with all the gifts necessary to accomplish this. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.🙏🏾
