    Three factors affect your capacity to grow your online business


    1️⃣ SERVE

    = you must consistently add value to others

    2️⃣ SYSTEMS

    = you need processes that continue moving people forward, automatically, such that the next person into your product / program gets the same experience as the first

    To be clear, you are serving PEOPLE…

    … but you need PROCESSES that help them understand what to do next AND lead them there.

    (i.e., you CAN go high-tech AND high-touch at the same time— and that should be part of your goal.)

    3️⃣ SCALEABILITY

    = your ability to add value using automation, when you’re not in the room with them

    If you cannot scale, you will continue—

    ⏰ trade dollars for hours, thereby limiting your income

    📌 find yourself tied to a specific location, thereby limiting geographical movement and/or travel

    🫲 be forced to do everything in person…


    With these three elements in place, you can effectively run “the business side” of it.

  • Flip the script (in your head)

    In order for people to do business with us (so we can get paid for what we know), THEY need to know a few things…

    ⚙️ What you do— the problem you solve & the potential you lead people to

    📣 They must be able to repeat that in their own words, so they can remember you

    🚀 They must believe you have a clear path that can help them “level up” and get results, that if they walk your path they will get to where they want to be…

    Furthermore, we must remember that these four things usually don’t close the sale.

    ❌ Knowledge— facts don’t usually sell on their own. People can find ANYTHING they want to know with a quick online search.

    ❌ Products— the same content can be delivered in numerous ways BY YOU at different price points… so a “book” or “course” is not the difference-maker.

    ❌ What you do, your role— there are numerous “life coaches” or “trainers” or “teachers” or whatever…

    ❌ Company name or certification— they don’t mean a whole lot and simply create noise

    ✅ The differentiator is YOU and ACCESS to you…

    If people trust you, they will do business with you.

    People do not do business with Knowledge, Products, What you do / roles, Companies, Certifications, etc…

    People do business with PEOPLE.
