DEVOTION
Based on 1 Peter 5
Peter warns us to stay alert and spiritually aware. The enemy is real and active, looking for opportunities to divide, distract, and destroy. We are not called to live in fear, but in readiness—grounded in truth and anchored in Christ.
To be “sober” means to be clear-minded and self-controlled; to be “vigilant” means to stay watchful and prayerful. Through God’s Word, prayer, and community, we are equipped to recognize the enemy’s tactics and stand firm in faith.
Take a moment tonight to center your heart. Breathe out complacency, and breathe in spiritual alertness. Ask God to help you walk in awareness, clothed in His protection and wisdom.

SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to stay alert and grounded in You. Strengthen me to resist the enemy and walk in spiritual wisdom. Keep my heart focused and my spirit vigilant, trusting in Your power to guard me each day.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please help us to be alert and ready for any challenge that comes our way by keeping ourselves spiritually fit. Equip us with endurance so we can remain strong in times of difficulty and not be overwhelmed by troubles. Give us a spirit of courage so that we may fearlessly face adversity and with Your help, overcoming any obstacles that stand in our way. Help us to remember that You are always near and faithful to support us when we lean on You in prayer. May we never forget the depths of Your mercy nor the abundance of Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
