C'est d'abord un type ahuri qui débarque dans le bureau de l'inspecteur Duckworth en prétendant avoir été kidnappé et passé à tabac. Sur son dos, un tatouage l'accuse d'être un meurtrier. Et puis il y a l'affaire Jeremy Pilford.

Intoxication meurtrière, assassinat sauvage d'une étudiante, disparitions inquiétantes...
