I want to help people feel like they're not alone and know someone who has gone through things also but survived. I feel like it's vital to try to help people and understand what another person is going through so that they don't have to hide in shame. Thank you to all who listen to this book and enjoy my work.

The purpose for which I wrote the following poem(s) is because they assisted me in expressing the feelings, thoughts, and emotions which I was having at the time while I walked through a relatively challenging period of my life. A Poet's Journey: Quotes by Poet is a book of quotes that I have written and quoted over the last eight years and included in one of the 20 books I have written. I have written this book for many reasons.

These are Poems from Exile by Balint Bodroghy. The first was written as an 18-year-old youth when becoming what is now known somewhat pejoratively as an economic migrant, after escaping from Hungary to Austria, and subsequently emigrating to Canada. The last poems in this batch were written in Vancouver in 1958, when he was a 27-year-old "young man". The next batch was all written in England, in English—still in exile, but no longer homeless. The final batch, contemporaneous poems, all in English—no longer in exile and no longer homeless.

The Thin Woman is a combination of poems, song lyrics, and journal entries illustrating one woman's constant and courageous struggle with her lifelong eating disorder. The poems and song lyrics, written by her sister, attempt to capture the Thin Woman's reality and the devastating pain it's caused both herself and her family.
