Opening Prayer

Triune God, you live and reign forever, world without end.

Scripture

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him.”

Reflection

Holy Spirit, kindle the flame of our faith. Grow us in Faithfulness. May we embrace and ever hold fast to the blessed hope of everlasting life.

Prayer

Great is your faithfulness to us.

Your love oh Lord draws us to your feet every morning.

The comfort we receive from knowing you love us with an unquenchable steadfast love quiets our anxious, fearful, striving heart.

You have mercies just waiting to lavish on us.

Thank you our Lord.

Thank you for your mercies.

For your gentle hand and sweet voice that whispers encouragement to us.

Your voice that daily if we choose to listen reminds us of your love for us.

Please Jesus help our souls to expect and desire to uncover the new mercies each morning you extend to us. Our Lord, you are faithful.

We entrust ourselves solely to you because you are beyond faithful and will always lead us by still waters and green pastures.

We lay ourselves at your feet and trust you to provide us with the love, mercy and faith to glorify you today.

We trust your faithfulness to carry us through this day, our sweet generous savior.

Closing

Behold we are the servants of the Lord. Let it be to us according to your word. May we rest in the peace that the darkness can never extinguish the light that has been given to us.
