  • This week's episode sees Matt and Nick recount their trip last month to the Cherry Red Records Stadium to see AFC Wimbledon battle back to salvage a 2-2 draw with Accrington Stanley, who are they? Of course, Stanley have more recently been in the news after drawing local rivals Liverpool in the FA Cup, cue lots of references in the media to that famous advert from the 80s.


    The lads then ascend the football pyramid to the Premier League where they review their FPL performances and look ahead to game weeks 14 and 15. Matt is optimistic, despite Team Pod's recent struggles, although his recent misery is compounded by a new entrant to the Pod VS Tok mini-league knocking him further down that particular table.


    Matt talks about his team with references to his podcast of the week Let's Talk FPL with FPL Andy. There's also lots of love for the legend that is Neville Southall and Nick sings the praises of the former Everton number 1. This has somehow turned into a Mersey Side Special, all fittingly ahead of the derby between Everton and Liverpool this weekend.
