    Paul Wise, MD, co-editor of the Washington Manual of Surgery, is vice chair of surgical education in the Department of Surgery at WashU Medicine. Dr. Wise’s specialty is in colon and rectal surgery and the treatment of colorectal cancers. He serves as director of the Inherited Colorectal Cancer and Familial Polyposis registry at WashU Medicine and the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center.

    Jeffrey Blatnik, MD, co-editor of the Washington Manual of Surgery, is chief of the Section of Minimally Invasive Surgery in the Department of Surgery at WashU Medicine. Dr. Blatnik’s specialty is in minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery and hernia repair. He serves as director of the Hernia Center at WashU Medicine.
