Between May 28 and June 3, Virginia Beach Police responded to multiple criminal incidents throughout the city.

In the Oceanfront area, officers investigated multiple alleged disorderly conduct and public intoxication incidents during high-traffic evening hours. Several alleged assaults were also reported in this vicinity, with at least one case under investigation following a reported altercation near 21st Street involving minor injuries. Police note ongoing efforts to address crowd-related offenses as the summer season begins.

In the Kempsville area, there was a reported alleged residential burglary on May 29. Entry was believed to have been gained through a back window; property was reported missing, and the case remains under investigation.

Police in the Lynnhaven neighborhood responded to an alleged theft from a commercial business near Lynnhaven Parkway on May 30. Merchandise was reportedly taken by two unidentified individuals who left the area before police arrival. No arrests have been reported in this case.

In the Green Run area, officers responded to a call about an alleged motor vehicle theft on May 31. The vehicle was reportedly taken from a parking lot during the early morning hours. The investigation is ongoing.

A robbery was reported in the Aragona Village area on June 1 near the intersection of Baker Road and Aragona Boulevard. According to police, the suspect approached the victim on foot and demanded property before fleeing. The investigation is ongoing and police are seeking a male suspect described as approximately 5’10", medium build, wearing dark clothing and a hooded sweatshirt at the time. Members of the public with information are encouraged to contact the department.

On June 2 in the Town Center district, there was an alleged vandalism incident involving graffiti on a public structure reported to police. Authorities have not announced any suspects and the case is open.

Throughout the week, several additional reports of alleged petty larcenies and property damage in the Bayside and Princess Anne areas were logged, most of which remain under active investigation.

No large-scale or violent criminal trends were identified this reporting period. Most incidents involved property crimes or public order offenses concentrated in higher-traffic commercial and entertainment zones.
