  • Teachability Is a Superpower!
    2025/07/18

    Text Michele

Have you ever realized you were totally wrong about something … and felt embarrassed? Relieved? Lighter and freer, like a veil was lifted? That’s not failure, my friend. It’s growth. In Today’s Kus Word, Coach Michele shares how having an attitude of teachability has shaped and refined her spiritual journey, her theology, her political views, and even her beliefs around certain foods. In the process, staying teachable made her freer. Being wrong isn’t the problem — staying wrong is! This episode is a shoutout to lifelong learning and the lost art of humble course-correction in our thinking. Let’s be people who never stop growing!

Whether it’s a podcast seven years in the making or a painting or song that unlocks healing, this episode will inspire you to kick fear in the face and release what’s inside of you… and ONLY YOU. Because someone out there needs YOUR creative something — even if it doesn’t look to you like anything at all!

In this soul-stirring, second conversation with Charity Williams of Hope Words ministry, we explore how following God’s lead in creating can silence comparison and the inner critic, and can awaken fresh, new vision. From painting a “green person” during worship (“Really, God?”) to navigating the tension between creative expression and church culture, Charity shares powerful, practical wisdom for any artist or creative soul longing to co-create with God instead of performing for approval.

In this episode, we unpack how biblical creativity isn’t optional — it’s foundational. Bezalel was filled with the Spirit not to preach, but to create! • A Conversation with Charity Williams | Kingdom Creativity Series, Pt. 1
    2025/06/13

    Text Michele

Ever wonder if your creative expression truly matters in God’s kingdom? In this inspiring and joy-filled conversation, Michele Kus interviews Charity Williams, founder of Hope Words, whose journey from the ICU to prophetic painting shows us that creativity isn’t just a hobby but a divine partnership with heaven.

In this episode, the first in our Kingdom Creativity series, Charity shares her remarkable journey of discovering her creative purpose. What started with painting encouraging words and images on her shoes (“because I was looking down so much”) became a healing and hope-filled ministry that invites others to encounter God through art, creativity, and joy.

Charity unpacks the difference between worldly creativity and kingdom creativity — the kind that co-creates with Holy Spirit to shift atmospheres and release heaven on earth. She shares how God freed her from perfectionism with these powerful words: “What you see in your mind is what I show you, and what comes out gets to look like you.”

Whether you’re an artist or not, Charity will help you see yourself as creative because you were birthed by the Creator Himself. Her refreshing perspective reminds us that creativity flows not from striving but from our identity and relationship with our Creator. This conversation will ignite your imagination and childlike wonder, and will remind you that it’s not about being perfect. It’s about being YOU.

Tune in and start seeing your creative expression through heaven's eyes — as a powerful reflection of God’s image on earth.

  • Trinitarian House Music | The Dance
    2025/05/16

    Text Michele

Have a Friday night Trinitarian dance party!

You were not created to stand outside the circle of divine love, watching from a distance. You were made to join the dance!

Baxter Kruger describes the Trinity not as a triangle of distant persons, but as a circle of shared life — Father, Son, and Spirit in eternal, joyful communion. This is perichoresis — a Greek word meaning mutual indwelling, often described as “a dance.” But here's the astonishing part: in Jesus, you’ve been swept into the circle and included in this dance!

The Son didn’t come merely to fix a legal problem. He came to bring us home. To share His relationship with the Father, in the Spirit. The Incarnation is not God changing His mind about you. It’s God revealing what was always in His heart: union.

You’re not trying to earn your way in. You're already included. As Kruger says, “You are not a spectator of Jesus’ relationship with the Father. You are included in it.”

This Christian life is not about working, earning, or striving for connection, but learning to relax into it. To hear the music of divine love. To feel the Spirit’s rhythm. To let the joy of the Trinity become your joy. To live, move, and have your being inside the dance.

What if the peace you’ve been chasing has been chasing you? This danceable house track kicks off with the line, “I searched for peace, but peace found me,” launching you into a musical journey from spiritual striving to divine inclusion. Set to house beats and Trinitarian lyrics, this is more than a song. It’s a grace-fueled dance floor encounter with your true identity and the One who made you!

Drawing on Baxter Kruger’s teaching about perichoresis — the joyful dance of the Trinity — you’ll be reminded that you’re not trying to earn your way into God’s presence. You’ve been in the circle all along. No performing, no pretending. You’re not a guest. You’re home. And He’s home in you. So turn it up and let the truth move your body.

    The Dance (lyrics):

I searched for peace, but peace found me.

I tried to strive, turns out grace was free.

No striving here, no need to chase.

Just fall into the arms of grace.

No more masks, no more disguise.

I’ve found love in Jesus’ eyes.

    I’m not a guest. I’m not alone.

I am the place He made His home.

    No more trying to belong.

I’ve been in the dance all along. (Ohhh.)

    2025/05/16

    Text Michele

Tired of pretending to be who others expect you to be? That exhaustion isn’t just emotional — it’s neurological. Your brain literally burns out trying to manage a false self. But here’s the good news: your true self — the one God dreamed up before the foundation of the world — isn’t something you have to earn or achieve. It’s already in you, waiting to be remembered and rediscovered.

In this episode, we’re fusing neuroscience with soul-deep truth. Discover how authenticity lights up your brain’s default mode network, reduces stress, and strengthens emotional bonds. When you live from your true self, you’re not just happier, you’re healthier! No more performing. No more people-pleasing. Just grace, identity, and a return home to the real you: God’s beloved. Let’s go there together.

  • Spoken Word Meditation | Guard Your Heart | The Essential Grace Series, Pt. 3
    2025/05/15

    Text Michele

Throw on some headphones, take a breath, close your eyes, and enjoy today’s meditative spoken word track based on Proverbs 4:23, which says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

    Lyrics:

Above all else guard your heart.

Not with walls of fear, but with boundaries of grace.

Your heart is holy ground. A garden. A wellspring.

The place where heaven whispers and your life responds.

Everything you do flows from here — your energy, your empathy, your yes, your creativity, your capacity to love.

So tend it. Protect the soil of your soul. Pull the weeds of pressure. Cut back the vines of comparison. Let only what nourishes remain.

    Boundaries aren’t barriers. They’re blessings.

They are the sacred lines where peace is preserved and purpose takes root.

You don’t need to say yes to everything. You were never meant to.

You were created to flow — not to flood, not to dry out, but to flow — steadily, gracefully, from the deep place where God dwells in you.

Guard your flow. Guard your rhythm. Guard your heart.

    Because from it… life flows.
