Colleen is many things to many people. She has been actively involved in her local school district through booster clubs, the District Handbook Committee, the District Communication Committee and is a founding member of the Evergreen Park D124 Education Foundation, a non for profit organization. She currently serves on the District's Board of Education.
In addition to her educational involvement, Colleen is an active member of the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish Community. Her roles within the parish include liturgical musician, catechist, cantor, flutist, and choir director for the Folk Group contemporary choir. She also teaches and manages the Baptismal Preparation Ministry, preparing families for the Baptism of infants and young children.
Professionally, Colleen is an organizational and productivity coach and a certified professional organizer. Since 2003, she and her company, Peace of Mind Professional Organizing, LLC, have served individuals and groups with in-person and virtual organizing, organizational and productivity coaching and presentations. She publishes a weekly newsletter and a weekly podcast called Your Organized Life with Colleen Klimczak that you can find on her website: https://peaceofmindpo.com. Colleen is also a member of the Evergreen Park Chamber of Commerce.
Colleen grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and has lived in Illinois since 1993, after she graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Business Management. She and her husband have three adult sons.
