Victor Tony Essiet has put in over 45 years as a musician. Starting with his college band in Lagos in 1979 and later having a breakthrough in the mid-80s with his wife Peggy Curtis as the surviving members of the band. The Mandators were at the forefront of the reggae era of Nigerian music. But Victor has continued to push his craft across boundaries more than twenty years after relocating to the United States of America.
