PEDs in combat sports, Social Programming & The Power of Nature

In this eye-opening episode of The Life Dojo Podcast, we explore the hidden forces shaping our minds, health, and society.

We begin with a raw conversation on PEDs in combat sports, drawing from real experience in MMA and questioning the safety, ethics and corruption in boxing today. We then dive into controversial topics like Magic Johnson’s HIV diagnosis, the double-edged sword of technology and how social media and attention culture have replaced true connection.

We challenge societal labels, explore religious unity across cultures and discuss how being in high-level environments can elevate your personal and business growth. We also break down how mainstream sport is used to distract and control the masses, just like the Roman gladiator arenas of old.

On a deeper level, we explore how collective consciousness is being dulled, why emotional control is vital and how walking the path of the higher self is key in resisting division and anger.

We finish with a powerful look at our spiritual connection to animals and nature from jaguars and lions to our own pets. Are animals conscious beings? Do they communicate spiritually? This episode brings it all together: mindset, media, nature and the journey to true self-mastery.

Emotional Control, Undercover Geniuses & Breaking Mental Limits

In this powerful episode, we explore emotional intelligence, childhood trauma and the dangerous consequences of unchecked emotions, especially in young men. Michael shares his personal journey of overcoming anger and learning self-awareness, while Marcus reflects on how trauma resurfaced later in life.

We discuss why all men should learn to fight, how prisons are filled with emotionally reactive youth and why emotional control should be taught from childhood. We dive into the flaws of the education system, the myth of academic intelligence, and the rise of “undercover geniuses”, people with raw, untapped brilliance in unexpected places.

We touch on poverty, mindset, vibrational energy and the power of breaking limiting beliefs. This episode is honest, unfiltered, and packed with insight on what it takes to level up as a man in today’s world.

  • Episode 17: Hunter gatherer vs modern man: What's gone wrong?
    2025/03/07

Ancient wisdom vs. modern nutrition—are we eating ourselves into weakness?

To make sense of the present, we have to look to the past. Ancient hunter-gatherers were lean, strong, and thriving—so what changed? In this episode, I break down how modern nutrition has led to weaker, sicker societies, while ancestral diets provided strength and resilience. We’ll explore what ancient civilizations knew about food, why modern processed diets are keeping people in a weakened state, and how returning to a primal way of eating—whether through a carnivore or whole-food-based approach—can transform health.

Are we being misled about nutrition? Decide for yourself!

  • Episode 16: Mid-life crisis or mid-life awakening?
    2025/03/05

Is the midlife crisis really a crisis—or is it a midlife awakening?

In this video, I share my personal journey of realizing that what I once thought was a crisis was actually a wake-up call—a sign that I was unfulfilled and needed a change. It led me on a path of self-discovery, purpose, and personal growth.

I also discuss my work as a life coach and the many men I’ve helped who felt lost, stuck, or unfulfilled. The truth is, a midlife crisis isn’t about decline—it’s about transformation. It’s life telling you that you’re not doing what you’re truly meant to do.

One powerful question I ask my clients:
“If money was no object, what would you do for the rest of your life?”

If you’re feeling lost or questioning your purpose, this episode is for you. Let’s turn crisis into clarity and awakening.

  • Episode 13: How to draw strength from trauma
    2025/02/07

In this powerful and transformative episode, I share the story of how I began my healing journey at age 41. Inspired by the remarkable story of Geoff Thompson—a world-renowned karate expert and former nightclub bouncer who overcame the trauma of childhood abuse to transform his life—I took a deep dive into my own struggles with anger and unresolved pain from trauma.

Through self-reflection and inner work, I discovered that my anger stemmed a from traumatic experience at 4 years old, the abusive treatment from teachers and the constant fights and conflicts I endured during my school years. But instead of letting it define me, I turned my pain into strength. From resilience and mental toughness to learning martial arts, traveling the world, and becoming an entrepreneur, my journey eventually led to a profound spiritual awakening and a desire to help others heal.

If you’re ready to draw strength from your trauma and transform your life, this video will guide and inspire you to begin your own healing journey.
