このコンテンツについて
Russell T Davies' It's A Sin, starring Years & Years' Olly Alexander, has taken the UK by storm; and with HBO launching the series in the US shortly, it is set to become a global phenomenon, helping raise awareness of HIV/AIDS as well as the treatment of gay people in the 1980s and 90s, due to the 'gay cancer'.
John talks to Terrence Higgins Trust Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Richard Angell, about the great work the charity does supporting those with HIV, as well as the affect of the TV programme on modern society - everybody is talking about queer culture, Section 28's effect on LGBTQ+ education, and the fact that, today, HIV is no longer a death sentence.
