Merry Christmas! On this week's episode, there's no review as Gene, Josh, & Richard are joined by frequent guest host Brian Tramel for the Inaugural Christmas Special of the Retro Wrestling Re-View Podcast! It's all Christmas themed non-sense from beginning to end as the guys give out Christmas gifts to the various USWA wrestlers they've seen in action so far in 1993! Plus, "Bert" stops by to sing Jingle Bells, BT reads his version of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, "Miss Texas" recites a parody of "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" about Miss Simpson, "Santa Claus" stops by to let the gang know who is on the "naughty & nice" lists this year, and then MeeMaw has her own version of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' that serves as the 'main event' of this episode! On this week's episode, we revisit the July 10th 1993 episode of USWA Championship Wrestling! Fresh off regaining the Unified World title from Owen Hart on July 5th, Bert Prentice introduces a new challenger for the King who promises to "drain all the blood of the King's living body!" Johnny Polo reappears after being AWOL for a few weeks to take on the "Fabulous One" Jeff Jarrett! Polo also introduces us to his friend, the Disco Inferno who is here to challenge "Nightmare" Danny Davis for the USWA Middleweight title!

Bert Prentice now manages the new USWA Tag Team Champions "Principal" C.W. Bergstrom & Melvin Penrod Jr but Bert's "other tag team" Simply Divine want their shot at the titles, Bert's time as Dunn & King's manager may be done, perhaps even…."WELL DUNN". Plus: Scott Taylor & Randy Rockett in tag team action and the main event of the show is Jerry 'the King' Lawler vs. Brian Christopher w/Miss Simpson!

Corey Maclin tells us all about the upcoming "4th of July Spectaculah" featuring a tournament where the winner gets a brand new 1993 Chevy Camaro! Brian Christopher is on a RAMPAGE this week after losing his Southern title to Jarrett and Ash Masters pays the price. "Principal" C.W. Bergstrom introduces his "A-Student" Melvin Penrod Jr. who is going to be his tag team partner this week challenging New Jack & Homeboy for the USWA Tag Team titles. We also hear from the Unified World Champion "the Rocket" Owen Hart with his manager Bert Prentice as well as the "King" Jerry Lawler who will be getting a rematch for the title at the 4th of July "Spectaculah"!
