The Ortho Plug is the podcast that delves into the minds of some of the most inspiring orthopedic surgeons in the country. They share their story to orthopedics and the strategies they used (or wished they used) to get to where they are now. But what makes this show so special is that each guest either comes from an underrepresented background, or are actively supporting those that do! Few things are more inspiring than hearing the stories from amazing orthopedic surgeons who you resonate with. It will continue to be this show's goal to share as many stories as possible with the hope that you find confidence and empowerment in your own.

Hello and welcome to episode 8 of The Ortho Plug. This is an amazing episode where I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Tino Mukorimbindo, a PGY 1 orthopedic surgery resident at the Harvard Combined program. Tino graduated from the University of Lousiville with his MD and MBA and is also the founder of Greater Influence, a nonprofit that seeks to improve access to resources and provide a blueprint for students from high school through medical school. In this episode, he shares what went into his decision to pursue his MBA alongside his MD, more on Greater Influence, how he maintained his confidence throughout medical school and the residency application, and much more.
