  • Prime Time NRLW & A Milestone For The Skipper!

    With the NRL regular season finished and no more Thursday Night Football, the NRLW takes centre stage in prime time tonight as the St George Illawarra Dragons make the trip to the Inner West of Sydney to take on the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval tonight!

    Dragons Captain Raecene McGregor will bring up the 40 game milestone this evening, the club she made her NRLW debut for in the inaugural Dragons side back in 2018. The Dragons also do welcome back Olympic Gold Medallist Tyla King at Five-Eighth, who will play her first game since Round 4!

    They come up against the winless Wests Tigers who boast two members of the winning Illawarra Steelers Tarsha Gale Premiership side in Evie McGrath and Chelsea Savill, coming up against their former teammates tonight in Kasey Reh, Charlotte Basham and Ella Koster for the first time!

    Plus 2019 Dragons Grand Final fullback Botille Vette-Welsh and Dragons junior Rikeya Horne another wearing the black and gold.

    With Finals out of reach for both teams, this should be an entertaining game to watch and we may see some tries scored with nothing to lose.

    JAG, Big T and Scoop will review and preview the Dragons loss to the Canberra Raiders in the NRLW, the Steelers win over the Rabbitohs and the Dragons loss to the Tigers in the NSW Womens Premiership, plus look ahead to the inter club battle between the Steelers and Dragons in the final round of the NSW Womens Premiership regular season, the Dragons trip to Leichhardt to take on the last placed Wests Tigersr on Thursday night in the NRLW, plus preview Round 8 of the NRLW and the first weekend of the NRL Finals with the Penrith Panthers taking on the Sydney Roosters in the first of the qualifying finals on Friday night, the Minor Premiers, Melbourne Storm up against the Cronulla Sharks in the other qualifier, then the two eliminators, the North Queensland Cowboys up against the Newcastle Knights on Saturday night, and the other sudden death game with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs taking on the Manly Sea Eagles.
