Endurance is something we don't always enjoy but we read in Hebrews 12:1-2 --

'Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. '

Jesus had joy as he endured the cross, because he knew what it meant for us, forgiveness, restoration, redemption, peace, hope, joy, eternity with Him.

Are we choosing joy to endure in the seasons that he brings us in, knowing that he is using the season, the circumstance for us to look to hIM, TO TRUST IN him and to know Him in such an intimate way, that we can bring others into that they may taste and see the goodness of God, as we continue to abide in Him and continue to taste and see of His goodness in our lives as well.

There is joy found in His will for us. How do we know? Our life with God, is one to be lived by faith, and by faith choosing faithfulness to Him, choosing obedience to Him. Tune in and listen as we talk about how what we thought what we wanted or what we thought was the will of God, really wasn't, and even how the desires of our hearts he shifted in such a way where now we are at peace with where we are and it is our joy to be in His will. There is no other way to life and life abundant then with God, the author and finisher of our faith.

We all have things we have struggled with before Christ completely came in and transformed our hearts to sing and rest in Him but if we are honest there are still things that we struggle with that if we have in our back pocket we can find some sort of rest and peace knowing we have a backup plan.
