  • Meet Cool Virtuoso Ben Adler With Amit Rehak and Henry Weinreich

    Meet cool virtuoso Ben Adler on this week’s The Hebrew Brothers with Amit Rehak and Henry Weinreich. Ben is an Australian-based violinist, composer, and arranger founder of his klezmer fusion band CHUTNEY (established in 2019) and the Nomad String Quartet (founded in 2021). Ben is the Director of SHIR, the Australian Jewish Music Festival (formerly Shir Madness), and the Musical Curator at Emanuel Synagogue. He also performs with the ARIA Award-winning gypsy band Monsieur Camembert. For several years, Ben performed and toured across Australia as a section member and soloist with the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO). Internationally, he has led the Hillel String Quartet and toured with pianist Will Cesta. In Sydney, Ben has collaborated with esteemed ensembles such as the Australia Piano Quartet, the Sydney Art Quartet, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Opera Australia Orchestra, and the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra. In the creative and arts fields, he combats behind the scenes of antisemitism. He stands for passion, emotion and courage.
