    WorkL Founder, Lord Mark Price speaks to Liz Jackson MBE, Sales & Marketing Director at Initium Corporate Finance (formerly BCMS). At the age of 2, Liz was diagnosed with a degenerative eye disorder which meant that by the time she was 25 she was blind. Amazingly at this age, Liz set up an award winning company, Great Guns Marketing, which she ran for 17 years and was awarded an MBE in 2017 by the late Majesty Queen Elizabeth for services to business.

    In this episode, Liz talks about her early school days and the struggles that came with going blind and the impact it had on her education. Liz also shares how she got into her first sales role and transitioned from being an employee to business owner to now working with entrepreneurs and being a co-owner at Initium Corporate Finance.

    WorkL Founder, Lord Mark Price speaks to Joe Seddon, Founder of Zero Gravity, a tech company that helps students from low opportunity areas get into university and access world-class careers.

    Earlier this year Joe was recognised by The Sunday Times in their inaugural Young Power List as one of 25 most inspiring people aged under 30 in the UK & Ireland. Amongst these, Joe has racked up many accolades, being on Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2022 and being honoured in King Charles' Birthday Honours List in 2023.

    In this episode, Joe talks about his early life growing up in Yorkshire, his time at the University of Oxford, coming to identify the barriers that prevented people from getting into top universities and world class careers post graduation. Joe also shares how his early connections with technology fostered his skills and experiences, eventually leading to him founding Zero Gravity.
