On this speical Pride month episode, I am joined by a fellow service member. Growing up in South Carolina, and raised southern baptist we talk about identity and tackeling with accepting yourself, being accepted by your family and how it affects all members of the LGBTQ+ community.
After military service, a marriage and subsepquent divorce she recounts her experience of serving during the repeal of dont ask dont tell and acceptence of Trans Service members, and gives insight on her experience so far after coming out as trans in 2020. We explore her perspective with current changes in 2025 and answer what it means to be privlaged and use that as a way to speak out in support of other communities. As we also learn about other aspect of her life as a voice actress in a audio drama, and here personal project to provide a safe space online with hope to expand its members and bring more inclusion.
