  • Victory, NYC Politics, And More On The Brett Winterble Show
    2025/07/17

Tune in here to this Wednesday's edition of the Brett Winterble Show!

Brett kicks off the program by talking about victory and momentum—both in politics and in the broader cultural fight for America’s future. With characteristic passion, he reminds listeners that a win isn't truly a win unless it breaks the opponent’s will to resist. Citing figures like Ulysses S. Grant and Sun Tzu, Brett underscores the importance of pushing through resistance and securing lasting change, not just symbolic triumphs. He challenges listeners not to settle for temporary applause or half-measures but to pursue real, definitive outcomes.

Later Brett is joined by New York City mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa to discuss his radical competitors and his plan for NYC if elected. From the perspective of outsiders, it appears that New York is filled to the brim with radical leftists who voted for Mamdani, the self-described communist, but Sliwa calls on the millions of everyday conservative Americans who keep NYC running day in and day out. These are the people who built America's greatest city, and they're the people who will cast their vote for a better, safer New York City.

"I am the candidate who can do it because I am the consummate New Yorker," Sliwa said.

Sliwa sees no difference between the communist Mamdani and the liberals Cuomo and Adams. They all support allowing illegal immigrants to vote and many other radical policies. Curtis Sliwa is the only common-sense candidate in this race.

  • Filing Day Fireworks, Faithful Giving & More On The Brett Winterble Show
    2025/07/16

Tune in here to this Wednesday edition of the Brett Winterble Show!

Brett kicks off the show by talking about what President Trump has accomplished since his administration began, breaking down the good versus the bad. President Trump’s wins far outweigh his losses; his handling of the 12-day war in the Middle East, ceasefires, tariffs, deportations, and the Big Beautiful Bill. The focus on the Epstein files is misguided; we must not become bogged down in the weeds, but we must focus on the pathway forward.

We're joined by Breaking Brett Jensen to talk about a chaotic day at the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections and the early moments of the 2025 Charlotte mayoral race. Brett recapped the calm filing of current Mayor Vi Lyles, who is running for a fifth term, addressing major city issues including recent uptown violence and council dysfunction. Then came Tiawana Brown’s electrifying and unconventional entrance, complete with livestreaming, chants, and a rally-like atmosphere. Brown criticized the media’s use of unflattering photos, declared she wouldn't speak to reporters—then did—and capped the event with a memorable reference to her designer “red bottoms.” The contrast between the two filings was stark, showcasing both the traditional and unpredictable sides of Charlotte politics.

We're joined by Steve Favre and Deacon Darren from St. Matthew Catholic Church to talk about the 23rd anniversary of the Monsignor McSweeney World Hunger Drive and the urgent need to support families facing hunger around the world. This life-changing initiative began 23 years ago with a single shipment to Haiti and has since grown to deliver over 4.5 million pounds of food and supplies globally. With Haiti in crisis and shipping routes blocked, this year’s efforts will shift to Cuba, while funds continue to support Haitian communities through local sourcing. The mission has expanded beyond food, emphasizing education and sustainability projects like gardens, tilapia farms, and chicken coops. With rising costs and limited access, the drive’s goal is $400,000, with 100% going directly to those in need. To get involved or donate, visit StMatthewCatholic.org/worldhungerdrive and help make a difference in lives both near and far.

Finally We're joined by Coach Matt Doherty to talk about leadership, political transparency, and the challenges facing public figures in today’s media landscape. Coach Doherty weighed in on the swirling controversy surrounding former President Trump and the ongoing speculation about Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged connections. He emphasized the importance of clear messaging and controlling the narrative, suggesting that Trump’s team may need to admit there’s no "smoking gun" and move on to more pressing matters like economic and technological initiatives. Coach also commented on Congressman Adam Schiff’s residency scandal, pointing out the contradiction of claiming two primary residences—something he called both misleading and politically damaging. With his background in leadership and team dynamics, Coach Doherty brings a unique perspective to the political arena, highlighting the parallels between sports strategy and public accountability. "Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it," former President Dwight D. Eisenhower said.

President Trump has put on a master class in leadership since taking office seven months ago. Taking the reins with chaos around the world and overseeing the cleanup of disasters created by the former administration. Do not lose faith in our president; this is a man who has faced lawfare, assassination attempts, and impeachments. Through all of this, he never wavered. Do not waver now.

  • Bakari’s Bid, Epstein Buzz And More On The Brett Winterble Show
    2025/07/15

Tune in here to this Tuesday's edition of the Brett Winterble Show!

Brett kicks off the program by talking about listener expectations surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case and the broader issue of human trafficking.Brett explains there are no new developments to report and emphasizes the importance of focusing on real-time issues like modern-day slavery and human trafficking happening across the United States. He passionately argues that the national conversation should center on stopping the exploitation of vulnerable people, particularly children, and criticizes those who ignore the crisis. Brett urges stronger support for law enforcement agencies like ICE and challenges the Democratic Party’s stance on immigration and public safety.

We’re joined by Breaking Brett Jensen to talk about rising violence in uptown Charlotte and the recent city council candidacy announcement by Krista Bakari. Jensen explains that Bakari, wife of former council member Tariq Bakari, is running to address what she sees as a lack of transparency, escalating crime, and concerns over how transportation funds are managed. The conversation highlights the city's failure to publicly respond to a recent mass shooting and ongoing safety issues plaguing uptown. Brett and Brett also discuss the broader implications for leadership, public trust, and upcoming political filings.

Beth Troutman from Good Morning BT is also here to talk about the upcoming political shifts in North Carolina and the national implications of an open U.S. Senate seat. With Senator Thom Tillis announcing he won’t seek re-election, Beth highlights potential contenders from both parties and the intrigue surrounding who might step forward. She also reflects on growing interest in the Epstein files, local city council races—including Krista Bakari’s candidacy—and national developments like Trump’s proposed investment in Pennsylvania. Beth also shares what she and Bo Thompson have coming up Wednesday on Good Morning BT!

  • Border Chaos, NATO Talks & More On The Brett Winterble Show
    2025/07/14

Tune in here to this Monday edition of the Brett Winterble Show!

Brett kicks off the show by talking about the many young people who have been trafficked into this country and are being used for cheap physical labor and in the sex trade. This is unacceptable anywhere, but especially in our great nation. Crime has touched nearly every family in America in some way or another, even our president was impacted when he was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania. This must come to an end; we must develop a realistic plan to combat the rise in crime that we've seen in our country.

Later, Brett turned his attention to the surprising shift in U.S. foreign policy, noting with concern the decision to send deadly weaponry to Ukraine. This move, he explained, came after former President Trump issued a sharp warning to Vladimir Putin—threatening 100% tariffs if the war didn’t end within 50 days. Trump, while critical of Putin, laid much of the blame for the conflict at the feet of President Biden, accusing him of weak leadership and failed diplomacy. Trump praised NATO’s new head, Mark Rutte, and emphasized Europe’s renewed spirit and financial commitment to defense efforts.
