This week we welcome Sofie Adelaar from Morrinsville-Ngarua Young Farmers and Charlie Young from Lincoln Young Farmers.
Originally from the Netherlands, Sofie came to NZ just before the Covid Lockdown. She ended up in Morrinsville, joined the local Young Farmers club, and the rest is history!
Charlie is an Aussie, but don't hold that against him! He decided to make the move to Lincoln University, and has been making the most of his time in NZ – even seeing a dairy cow for the first time!
NZYF is a non-profit organisation focused on connecting, nurturing, and empowering young people throughout rural communities. It’s a place to meet new people, connect with the food and fibre sector, and have some fun!
