    How do children and teenagers deal with negativity as they are getting older?

    How do we as parents protect our children from unnecessary negative situations?

    In this episode, we discuss if your children have a self-esteem in place that allows them to absorb negativity. We provide suggestions on how to teach them to protect their space and their spheres.

    As parents, we have to have open communication with our children to understand what they are going through. We have to work on the communication with our children and have them learn how to effectively communicate with the world around them.

    Children model the behaviors of adults. When dealing with negative situations, children will manage negative situations based on the behaviors that you’ve modeled in your own home.

    Teach children that the opinions of others don’t provide them the reason for their self worth and that their worthiness in the world is not based on the opinions of others.

It allows you to evaluate your life in a much more ideal manner so that ultimately you can find a solution to what you are trying to achieve.


    In this episode, we go through examples on how to implement the strategy - one common one being someone trying to lose weight.


    We also discuss sharing the 5 Spheres with your children. As children age into the tween and teen years, communication is critical and this process allows for adults to decipher what children are maneuvering through. The 5 Spheres is a tool to open conversations between adults and children of all ages.
