Have you been asked if you believe in "Love at First Sight"? How about, "Is he/she the one for you"? I have heard both and been asked both questions. I used to not believe in love at first sight, but as I get older and meet more people from all over the world, I've come to realize that this "idea" is possible. I can't speak for the masses, but when my daughter was first born, I feel in love instantly...LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! Actually, I feel in love as soon as I knew I was pregnant & when that ultrasound picture confirmed it!

A listener asked me "how did I know Patrick was the one for me," and to be frank I didn't in the beginning. I didn't believe in this phrase. I thought to myself there was no way to really know if someone was "the one" for you because life can change people and in turn change the relationship, right? Don't play with yourself, you know people change! But as Patrick and I continue to evolve as individuals, as a couple, and as parents, I have grown in my mindset too. He is absolutely the one for me! Life has taken us around the world, life has taken us through hell and back, and life will continue to throw speedy curveballs.

When I think about life and all the unexpected & expected happenings, I think of only him being by my side & being able to stick it out. This formulated after going through some tough shit, but we made it! We may have gotten a lot of cuts and bruises, even baby crawled to the finish line, but the result was WE FREAKING MADE IT! We made it because we had fight for one another. We wanted to be by each other vs. walking away from one another.

So ask yourself, "Is the person you love the one for you"? If so, I want to hear from you. Tell us how you know they're the one for you!
