  • Meet Nick: From Troubled Teen To An American Dream Story
    2024/02/26
Meet Nick: Nick describes his journey from struggling teen (who brought his Xbox to treatment) to recovery professional, college grad, husband, dad, and now... business owner! Nick earned his Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from George Mason University in 2007, but he considers himself a nerd because, as he puts it, he'd rather discuss anything other than the human mind, including Austrian economics and science. I guess that makes us nerds too, because, hey, we get it! On that point, we BRIEFLY tap into the need for mental wellness industry reform and other topics BUT the real news is his announcement about his family opening the "Old Dominion Men's Recovery Center" in Northern Virginia. He describes the program as a nonclinical, mutual support-focused, 6-bed, concierge-style men's rehabilitation program!
