  • The Trail Gets Weird: Behind the Wagon with I Hate This Stupid Bike Productions
    2025/07/07

This week on the pod, we’re hitching up the wagon and heading west—with chaos in tow. Join us as we chat with the cast and crew of The Trail to Oregon!, presented by I Hate This Stupid Bike Productions. Based on the cult-favorite musical from Team StarKid, this choose-your-own-adventure comedy follows one wildly dysfunctional pioneer family through pixelated peril, unexpected songs, and audience-decided doom.

We go behind the scenes of the 8-bit-inspired mayhem, meet the actors bringing it to life, and unpack how this interactive frontier story turns a nostalgic computer game into a full-on theatrical adventure. Hear what it’s like to die onstage (multiple ways), sing through dysentery, and keep a straight face while the audience picks who bites the dust.

    Starring:
John Toth • Angelina Crawford • Nat Merriman • Sage Ryan • Esteban Vega • Dylan Haught

    Show Dates:
    August 7–10, 2025 — Get your tickets here: https://our.show/kzj12p8t4j

One family. One wagon. Infinite bad decisions. Let’s go to Oregon.

  • Between the Lines: Rossford Drama Brings the Broadway Musical to Life
    2025/06/27

What happens when your favorite book starts speaking back? We sat down with two cast members and the assistant director from Rossford Drama’s upcoming production of Between the Lines—the Broadway musical based on the novel by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer.

In this episode, they share what it’s like bringing this whimsical, heartfelt story to the stage and why Rossford Drama continues to be one of the most connected theatre communities around.

The musical follows Delilah, a high schooler who escapes into a fairytale world—only to discover the prince inside her book might be just as real as she is. With a contemporary pop score and a story full of humor, heart, and imagination, Between the Lines explores what it means to write your own story, even when life doesn’t follow the script.

Performances are July 11 & 12. Tickets available at the door—don’t miss your chance to step between the lines!
