Katie and Bridget wave their arms at a baseball game as they re-watch the Disney classic: Angels in the Outfield! For some reason, that prayer gets listened to! Don't! Ask! Questions! Roger and J.P. watch as the Angels begin to win in miraculous ways and they convince the coach that it's angels, which honestly he just radically believes and it's great. This movie brings on all the tears as it asks the deep questions, such as: Why are people so willing to believe in God but not other miraculous things? Why didn't anyone punch Roger's deadbeat dad in the face multiple times throughout this movie? WILL J.P. EVER BE GIVEN THERAPY BECAUSE HE'S CRYING WAY TOO MUCH FOR MY LIKING!? Come along as we meet Preston, an 11 year old boy who has no money, no job (lol), and no friends - as we're all incessantly reminded throughout the movie. But Preston does have one thing going for him: a vision board! When he is given a blank check by an escaped convict that nobody's looking for, he gets 1 million dollars and spends it all in 6 days. Somehow his family has no questions! Nor do the police! Including a grown woman named Shay Stanley who literally works at the bank undercover and doesn't see anything weird about all this! It just makes sense! We've got 90's kid antics, boomer-esq money language (BARF), and never ending questions in this Richie Rich wanna be movie. Katie and Bridget make bug jokes as they re-watch the Pixar classic: A Bug's Life! Come along as we meet Flik, an ant with Rick-Moranis-inventor-dad energy who puts his already enslaved ant colony in more danger by losing all of the gathered food for their evil overlords - aka the grasshoppers (not crickets, which we're still confused by the two). When Hopper, a character that would do great in our current administration with how evil he is, demands they gather twice as much food, Flik sets out to find "warrior bugs" to fight them off and save the colony. Well he doesn't really find that, but he does come across the bug circus filled with bug talents and more - you guessed it - bug jokes. Will the ants be able to be upstanders and defeat the grasshoppers once and for all? Did Katie and Bridget need to do excessive amounts of Googling bug facts during this episode!?
