    2022/09/24

Jarryd Bartle’s argument on the futility of prison got some savor from a claim by one of South Africa’s top criminals.

During interrogation, the accused boldly blamed his imprisonment for turning him into a murderer.

Moses Sithole (a.k.a the ABC killer, the South African strangler; and The Gauteng Killer), born in 1964, in Vosloorus, South Africa is ranked as one of South Africa’s most notorious serial killers. He was found guilty of thirty-eight murders and forty rapes in the course of one year(1994–1995).

After the death of his father, he was abandoned by his mother. He spent three years in the orphanage where he was maltreated. He was later arrested for rape charges as a teenager. He explained that the women he murdered all reminded him of the women who had falsely accused him of rape years before—strange how one of his victims was a toddler.

On the 5th December 1997, He was sentenced to 2410 years in prison with no possibility of parole for at least 930 years. He is currently incarcerated at Pretoria's C-Max.

  • Episode 1: The Express Train Killer (aka Al-Tourbini)
    2022/09/18

“I was possessed by a spirit”

Now, this is not a catchphrase used by an adulterer caught in the act but a statement made by a notorious criminal after he was asked to give a reason for the commission of his gruesome acts.

Ramadan Abdel Rehim Mansour (aka Al-Tourbini), born in 1980, in Tanta, Gharbia, Egypt is ranked as one of the top serial killers in the world. He allegedly murdered at least thirty-two children in the course of seven years. He was bullied and physically abused under the guise of being taught the skill of survival and became a product of the street gang, Mansour soon after getting caught up in a web of crimes. He was so good at putting up an act that his family members mistook him for a quiet and mentally “low” person.

On Thursday, December 16, 2010, Mansour was executed by hanging at Burj Al Arab Prison.
