HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!! To celebrate, we talk about the history of LGBTQ+ rights and pride parades. We made a timeline that highlights events from Canadian and US that are significant in LGBTQ+ history. We discuss poetry from lesbian artists from the 1800s, the stonewall protests, and some issues that this community faces today. Again, happy pride and stay safe!!

Eugenia Cooney is a YouTuber that makes fashion and makeup content. She has been on YouTube since 2014 and has accumulated a large following. Though she has lots of fans, many worry for Eugenia due to her unhealthy weight. Others even criticize her for glamorizing an unhealthy lifestyle due to her alleged ED. Recently, she had a health scare on a livestream, worrying people even more. In this episode, we talk about her past on YouTube, her frightful livestream, and eating disorders in general.

Silla is an Inuit throat singing duo from Ottawa, Ontario. We got to sit down with Cynthia from Silla to talk about their music and how they mix traditional Inuit throat singing with other genres to form an original sound. Cynthia also speaks on the concepts from their songs being inspired by interesting stories from the Inuit culture. Silla has many accomplishments such as one of their songs being featured on the Netflix show “North to North” and opening for artists such as Elisapie.
