• The Soul Recovery Path to Clear Boundaries, Healthy Requests, and Inner Peace
    2025/07/14

Send one way text to Rev Rachel

Before Soul Recovery, I didn’t even know what my yes or no was—let alone how to honor it. In this episode, we explore the essential role of boundaries in your healing journey. Through the lens of Soul Recovery, boundaries aren’t rigid walls—they’re living, breathing expressions of self-love. They allow us to protect our energy, express our preferences, and release the need to control others. When we learn to say yes and no with clarity, we create safety in our relationships and peace within ourselves.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, drained, or unsure how to ask for what you need, this conversation is for you. We’ll explore the difference between control and true sovereignty, how your boundaries naturally evolve as you heal, and why honoring your needs isn’t selfish—it’s sacred. Join me on the path to deeper self-awareness, healthier relationships, and a life aligned with your soul.

  • Healing Addiction with The 9-Step Soul Recovery Process: Break Free from What No Longer Serves You
    2025/07/07

Send one way text to Rev Rachel

In this episode I am talking about addiction—not just the big, obvious ones like alcohol, but the subtle, often socially accepted habits like sugar, scrolling, shopping, or constant busyness that keep us disconnected from our wholeness. Even after more than seven years of sobriety from alcohol, I’m still looking at behaviors and uncovering patterns that no longer serve me… and that’s what Soul Recovery is all about.

I walk you through the full 9-Step Soul Recovery Process and share how I’m using it—right now—to address my own sugar addiction from a spiritual perspective. This isn’t about shame or discipline. It’s about curiosity, compassion, and the willingness to see what we’ve been using to protect ourselves and begin to make new choices that support our highest good.

If you’ve ever found yourself stuck in a behavior you know isn’t serving you… if you’ve made promises to yourself and broken them… if you’re longing to feel more alive, more aligned, and more at peace with your body, mind, and spirit I hope you will find inspiration and a process for healing with Soul Recovery.

  • From Reactivity to Peace: Soul Recovery Tools to Step Off the Emotional Battlefield
    2025/06/30

Send one way text to Rev Rachel

In this heartfelt episode of the Recover Your Soul Podcast, I share one of the most powerful tools of Soul Recovery: learning to step off the emotional battlefield and into peace. Soul Recovery is a spiritual path that teaches us how to shift from reactivity to intentionality—not by bypassing our feelings, but by honoring them and choosing differently. In this episode, I offer real-life stories from my own journey, including a recent moment with Rich that reminded me how quickly old patterns can surface—and how empowering it is to pause and return to our truth. Together, we’ll walk through the 9-Step Soul Recovery Process as a daily practice, not just a one-time checklist.

Whether it’s parenting, partnership, or past pain, we all have places where we’ve armored up to feel safe—but the battlefield never brings peace. You’ll learn how to take your power back by laying down your weapons and picking up awareness, surrender, and grace. This episode is a gentle yet transformative invitation to stop reacting, start healing, and live from your wholeness.

  • Shedding Old Limiting Beliefs: Soul Recovery and Shadow Work for Awakening
    2025/06/23

Send one way text to Rev Rachel

Have you noticed that old wounds and limiting beliefs showing up lately? You’re not alone. Many of us on the spiritual path are feeling an intense surfacing of our deepest shadows right now — and although it can feel unsettling, it’s actually a blessing in disguise.

In this episode, I invite you to see these resurfacing patterns for what they truly are: an invitation. We’re in a time of energetic shifts, solar flares, astrological alignments, and a spiritual “thinning of the veil” that is asking us to gently bring light to the parts of ourselves that have been hidden in our subconscious. These old stories and protective parts were never here to punish us — they were formed by a younger self who did the best they could to feel safe.

Through Soul Recovery, we don’t fight our shadow — we welcome it, witness it with compassion, and release it with love. Together, we’ll explore how to recognize these old beliefs when they show up, how to feel our feelings without becoming them, and how to step into our sovereign, whole self that’s always been there beneath the stories.

As you listen, may you be reminded: your shadow doesn’t define you. It’s simply showing you where more light wants to enter.

  • Stop Being a Victim of the World You See and Take Your Power Back with Soul Recovery
    2025/06/16

Send one way text to Rev Rachel

The greatest power we have is the choice to shift our perception. Before we discover Soul Recovery, so many of us live in a constant loop of “why is this happening to me?”, feeling like victims of our circumstances — whether it’s our family, our health, or the state of the world.

In this heartfelt episode, I share how my own journey taught me that while we’re powerless over what happens outside of us, we hold absolute authority over how we respond inside ourselves. This is sovereignty — not denial or spiritual bypassing, but a profound remembering of our divine nature and a commitment to see life through the eyes of love. Together, we explore how to stop feeding fear, how to meet challenges — including health struggles — with compassion and practical action, and how to stand firm in our wholeness no matter what storms rage around us.

Soul Recovery invites us to witness our responses without judgment, release old patterns and beliefs, deepen our connection to something greater still, and live from the sanctuary of our heart. From this space, we’re “in the world but not of it” — participating fully in our human experience while rooted in a higher perception that keeps us centered, peaceful, and empowered. You are not alone — you are not a victim — and your inner power is waiting to be awakened.

  • Your Thoughts and Words Create Your Reality: Using Soul Recovery to Transform Your Life
    2025/06/09

Send one way text to Rev Rachel

The words we speak and the thoughts we hold aren’t just passing moments—they’re the seeds we plant in the garden of our lives. Whether we realize it or not, we’re always creating. Soul Recovery reminds us that healing begins when we become aware of how we're using our voice, both in the silence of our own mind and in the way we speak to those around us.

In this episode, I invite you to take a deeper look at the power of your inner and outer language—especially in moments of pain, fear, or conflict. How we talk to ourselves when we’re hurting… how we speak to someone we love when we’re upset… these are sacred turning points. We can choose to repeat the old patterns, or we can choose to awaken.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about becoming more conscious. Instead of saying “I’m struggling” or “things never change,” we can shift into new language that aligns with who we are becoming. We can pause, breathe, and speak with intention. And when we do, the world around us begins to shift.

This is the work of Soul Recovery: learning to meet ourselves with love, speak with compassion, and transform our lives from the inside out—one thought, one word, one choice at a time.

  • Mel Robbins 'Let Them Theory'- Loving Detachment, and the Soul Recovery Path to Freedom
    2025/06/02

Send one way text to Rev Rachel

If you’ve ever struggled with codependency, people-pleasing, or the heaviness of wanting to fix what isn’t yours to fix. Have you ever wanted something so badly for someone you love… but knew deep down you couldn’t make them choose it? That ache — the one we feel when we care so deeply — is where Soul Recovery begins.

In this episode, I’m reflecting on Mel Robbins’ Let Them Theory and why it resonates so powerfully with what we’ve been practicing together in Soul Recovery. This isn’t just about letting go — it’s about learning to detach with love, to release control not from apathy, but from deep spiritual trust.

Let’s walk this path together — one moment, one breath, one loving release at a time.
