  • S2 E12: Final Episode and TeamUP
    2022/01/21

This is our wrap up episode - or rather our TeamUP episode. We have decided, in the spirit of resilience, sustainability, and doing good work, to merge our two podcasts over at TeamUP - the content was going to be so similar this season that it made sense to take this opportunity

This season of TeamUP focus on practical tools in primary care to support the adaptive capacity of the system.

Please check out TeamUP at www.teamuppod.com and subscribe or follow in your favourite podcast app.

Perhaps it is better to TeamUP than to just pod-fade away...

    Thanks for listening,

    Sarah and Morgan

  • S2 E11: immPACC: Helping communities reduce structural barriers to immunizations
    2021/08/31

In this episode we talk with our own Amanda Frazer about our own immPACC Mapping Project (immunization-Primary And Community Care Mapping). We get into the weeds a bit quickly because, well, we are very excited about how this tool is able to help communities engage in and accelerate local ideas to improve immunization uptake.

If you want to see a short overview video that also give a visual of what the maps look like, we have a 5 min video on YouTube:

More information can be found online here in our COVID-19 Immunization Toolkit for Primary Care

We are also actively training facilitators to run immPACC sessions .

Please email us if you are interested in learning more: immpacc@covidtoolkit.ca

  • S2 E7 - Keep on Keeping on (UPDATED MAY 12th)
    2021/04/26
EPISODE UPDATE ALERT: SCIENCE CHANGE In this episode from April, we talked about encouraging people to keep on with the public health orders and the concerns and risks of the AstraZeneca vaccine and how to compare that to lightning strikes. Since we published this, our understanding of the clot risks has changed, with the risk of clot increasing to around 1:100,000. When we recorded this episode the science suggested the risk was 1:250,000. We wanted to update that this material and the comparisons to things like risk of lightning strikes is now out of date.
