Welcome to the Micro Mic, a poetry reading series by diVERSES in Columbus Ohio where we feature a poet for our intimate studio, following their performance with a discussion around their work and poetry. If you are interested in poems, poetry, or spoken word, you'll enjoy hearing this feature from poet Ruth Awad, on what poets need to know to avoid writing the trash poem and instead create work that is transcendent.
