    SERMON NOTES – July 6, 2025Series: Ephesians: God’s Plan to Reconcile All Things in ChristText: Ephesians 2:11-18Topic: Peace With God and His PeopleAttribute: Praise Christ as our Peace!GOD’S IM: “I only have one people! If you are in Christ, you are reconciled with and united to one another.”Notes: R_________________ (vs. 11-12)O_____________ (vs. 13-18)Colossians 2:11 and 16+17IMPLICATIONS FOR LIFE:1) There is only one people of God and they are all saved the same way!Repent of the ways you fall short of viewing and treating people and groups of people based on physical distinctions, and learn to view and treat people in light of the Gospel! 2) Seek restoration and peace with one another.If the Gospel is big enough to cover our sins with God, then it is certainly big enough to cover our sins against one another! We must strive for unity, peace, reconciliation, and restoration in our personal lives and relationships, especially with fellow believers in Christ. 3) Proclaim peace to those who are far off and those who are near.Preach Christ and His peace to anyone and everyone you can, and by God’s grace, He will bring many into the body of Christ!Music and word rights reserved. May those words often be on our lips. Let us spend time contemplating the riches of God’s grace, mercy, kindness. Let us get an accurate picture of who God is. Because he is that, we are desperately loved.3) Remind yourself of what you will be experiencing for all of eternity. It is not you doing something for God. There is nothing that you did to earn or deserve this, and therefore, there is nothing you can do to lose or diminish it! It is irrevocable because it is based on the character and work of an unchanging and perfect God. 2) You can begin to experience the blessings of God's salvation now, while you wait for more in the future.Paul’s heart is that you experience all the joys and blessings that the Father planned, Jesus won, and the Holy Spirit applies in your present life while also living with the hope, promise, and assurance that more is coming in the future! 3) Praise the Lord!
