This episode continues the series (part 2) I started last time about the history that went on to inform and inspire laws and policies related to equality, civil rights, and ultimately what is now known as D.E.I. On this episode, I discuss the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments of The Constitution, the Chinese Exclusionary Act, and the many treaties the United States government broke with the indigenous people of this land.
