During the week of June 1–7, 2025, Omaha police responded to several notable incidents across the city. A police pursuit in northwest Omaha concluded with the arrest of a 16-year-old female following a high-speed chase and subsequent crash. The individual was taken into custody, and the matter remains under investigation. No case number was released.

On June 10, federal agents and Omaha police executed a large-scale worksite enforcement operation at a business in the Glenn Valley Foods area, part of an ongoing investigation into employment of individuals without legal work authorization. During the operation, an alleged illegal alien from Honduras brandished a weapon and assaulted ICE and federal officers as they served a federal search warrant. More than 70 individuals were detained at the scene, with some found to have active local warrants and prior DUI convictions. The investigation is ongoing, and several may now face federal charges including fraud, misuse of visas and documents, assaulting a federal officer, and resisting arrest. Authorities are not currently seeking public assistance for suspect location specific to this incident.

The Omaha Police Department also conducted ongoing training activities at the Omaha Public Safety Training Academy. These events were not tied to criminal activity but reflect ongoing departmental initiatives to address community and officer safety concerns.

Any significant trends for the week include a continued focus on federal and local coordination targeting large-scale employment fraud and immigration violations, as well as ongoing police attention to high-speed vehicle incidents involving juveniles. Law enforcement has also highlighted the presence of suspects with prior records during workplace enforcement actions.

Anyone with information regarding felony crimes or suspects is encouraged to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP. For emergencies, dial 911.
