We are talking all about the 2020 Christmas flick, Fatman with Mel Gibson playing a blue collar Santa Claus who has fallen on hard times with the factory and has to take on military operations to make up the funds. Then, when a naughty, entitled rich kid gets a lump of coal for Christmas, he hires Walton Goggins to assassinate Chris Cringle. This movie is filled with a ton of depth. Great action, solid drama, and comedy to top it all off. This to me is one of the greatest Christmas movies I have ever seen. Joining me on the discussion is my old pal, Josh Bullock. We are going back in time to 1964 to talk all about the Brazilian horror film classic, At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul. Directed by, co-written, and starring Jose Mojica Marins as Coffin Joe. What we learned from Coffin Joe, is that he was like Brazil's Vincent Price. Staring in movies, hosting horror shows and doing all sorts of live appearances. This movie here is filled with all sorts of excellent dark humor, brutal violence for the 1960's, and an intriguing story about one man's absolute control over a small town. There are 2 sequels that would be fun to also check out down the line and one is in 2008 to make things quite interesting.

I'm joined with my old pal, Dave Candito to chat about the flick and go off the rails with talks about VR Racing and the steering wheel controllers, metal concerts, Brazil life, and just other movies and video games that may or may not have a tie in to Coffin Joe.

This time we are going back with the all-time classic 1986 fantasy fueled flick, Labyrinth. This has always been an ultimate go to of ours for many, many years and a childhood favorite too. Starring Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie, straight out of Jim Henson's Creature Shop, while written by Terry Jones and produced by George Lucas. Coming in right after Dark Crystal, this was another one of those movies that took a moment to catch on with people and once it made its way ttoogood ole VHS and Laserdisc it continued with a cult following. Sadly, true straight fantasy movies almost barley exist anymore. Yeah, there's a lot of combo genres using fantasy elements, but not in such classic pure form as the Labyrinth.
