Humans haven't changed a lot genetically since the 70s, so why were most people a healthy weight when I was growing up? Now people in the healthy weight range are in the minority. Around two thirds of us fall into the overweight or obese categories. 70s people weren't running on willpower to stay slim and we haven't lost all our moral fibre over the decades!
There are lots of factors which contribute to the obesity epidemic, but one, I believe, is the outsourcing of most of our nutrition to large food companies. It's time to take back some of that control and make gradual lifestyle changes. I've done this and I believe you can too.
