Our studio guest today for Noosa Now is Johanna Wallace owner and Creative Director of Noosa's Little Seed youth theatre company. Johanna started Little Seed over twenty years ago and has overseen its growth to become, not only here in Noosa but state-wide, one of Queensland's premier youth theatre troupes. Each year Little Seed produces numerous well-loved plays and musicals such as Guys and Dolls, Wicked and Marry Poppins which are staged in The J at a highly polished level of professionalism. And are very entertaining. Her packed annual programme also includes Little Seed actors performing (at the Lake McDonald open-air amphitheater) one of Shakespeare's plays - completely unabridged, just as the Bard wrote them. Little Seed consistently wins awards for its excellence and is a hot-bed for nurturing many local young talents.
