  • We Tried to Be YouTube Legends. Here’s What Actually Happened.
    2025/04/21
Help me make my projects a reality: https://www.patreon.com/c/noahchrysler This is the second half of my conversation with Oscar. In this half, I tell him about why, eight years ago, I chose to abandon him, my best friend, as we were working on a project that had the potential to give us everything we ever wanted for our careers and our lives. This is a decision that part of me still regrets to this day. I don't know if watching this video fully conveys the emotional weight of what I was going through at this time in my life, but this was one of the most difficult decisions I've ever made. Knowing what I know now, I realize that if I just stayed in Rochester and got some crappy part time job and continued to grind with Oscar? We could have achieved everything we wanted. Famous YouTubers have confirmed this to me. You are watching what is likely one of the largest mistakes of my life. And to top it off, this video will likely get like 100 views lol. I was convinced that I did not deserve the success I had. I was ashamed for seeking external validation and fame. I did not appreciate what I had. I discounted the value of my collaborators. Instead of looking at my own skills and what I was good at, I sought out external validation and advice from people who had different lives and different goals than mine. If you resonate with anything I say in this video or in this description and you are experiencing something similar, I would highly recommend you look into "shadow integration." If I were able to reconcile with myself my own greed - that I wanted attention, that I wanted validation and appreciation, and that those things were okay - I could have made the decision to stay. Instead, I ran away. I ran away from my failures to go prove myself to people who I didn't need to prove myself to. I'd like to think that I will never make this mistake again. Hopefully, that's the case, but I can't predict the future. Every time I botch something now, I plan to stare it in the face and sit with it, until I see the flaws, and take imperfect action trying to address them. Don't run. Cowards run. Sit with your failure and become friends with it. It'll save you a lot of heartache. Or at least it would have for me. Okay enough rambling. The nice part is - this story is not over. ______________________________ If you're considering supporting or following me, here are some of my current goals: Continue Brain Juice: A personal podcast where I share stories from my life and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. • My Best Friend & I got $10,000 to start a Business…and we blew it.

If anyone has seen me fail up close, it is Oscar Estrada. In this episode of Brain Juice, we discuss the business ventures Oscar and I started after The RIT Newsman. We had a chance to build something legit… and we kinda completely blew it. From knocking on random doors trying to sell $200 video ads, to pitching a stunt so insane it could’ve gotten us arrested - this is the story of my adventures with my original partner in crime.

Oscar, if you're reading this, I love you buddy. Thank you for believing in me, creating some of the best work of my life with me, helping me understand more about the world, and helping me understand more about myself.

Help me make my projects a reality: https://www.patreon.com/c/noahchrysler

This is the story of how I went from making Pokémon videos alone in my room, to traveling the world with my best friend. Until it all blew up in my face.

Your support on Patreon helps me build a career centered around meaningful conversations, storytelling, and creative projects that make a real impact.

    Current Goals:

Talk It Out – A talk show dedicated to having hard conversations and resolving interpersonal conflicts in a meaningful way.

Brain Juice – A personal podcast where I share stories from my life and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

Personal Coaching Calls – Helping people navigate real problems in their lives—both business and personal—while ensuring it's sustainable for me.

Write a Book – The Elephant Method (working title), exploring communication, self-awareness, and human connection.

Live Talks & Interactive Events – A mix of speaking, comedy, music, and immersive experiences that bring people together.

Noah Chrysler LLC – A media company dedicated to self-improvement, humor, and critical thinking. This umbrella organization will feature multiple podcasts, video shows, and projects aligned with these values.

If you’d like to support and help make these projects a reality, check out my Patreon. Every bit helps.

Assistant Editor: Kurt Militi (thank you Kurt.)

I'm looking for more editors. If you would like to help me edit for the project, send me an email at: contact@noahchrysler.com

FYI* You will be paid, but I don't have much money right now, so it won't be very much.

The work will be long and tedious. But I will teach you everything I know about editing, storytelling, production, writing, YouTube, and more.

You will FOR SURE become a better video creator. That's the real value.

Come follow me into the dark. I don't think Oscar regretted it, but you can decide for yourself.

  • I bet $1,000 on YouTube and Lost It All.
    2025/04/07

In this episode, I talk about how I bet my meager $1,000 life savings on a Katsukitty Capture Card to make Pokemon YouTube videos in college. lol. It went about as well as you'd expect.

I also talk about how I originally regretted going to RIT, how lonely and isolating the start of my college experience was, and how I grew to make friends and become part of the community. I talk about the existential fear I felt transitioning from high school to college, and how my identity underwent severe turbulence. For a little while, I felt like I had no idea who I was.

Anyway. It's all very personal stuff lol. Maybe someday I'll regret sharing so much of myself with the internet, but hopefully, that day isn't today lol.

  • Every high school failure I tried to hide...
    2024/12/31

Welcome to the first video episode of the podcast. Harken back to my ol high school days where I was a teenage dipsh*t lol. I thought this series would be cool for a few reasons.

First, again, when I was going through most of this stuff, I felt alone. My hope is that this video, and this series, finds someone and helps them feel a little more hopeful and a little bit less alone. Second, how often do you talk in-depth about these things from the past and make little life documentaries about your past projects? I bet there's all sorts of wisdom I could still glean from these experiences, and if that's true for me, hopefully it's true for someone else out there too.
