It's Christmas week and we seem to have less time to focus on Jesus. Or even spend time with him in prayer. How can that be?

It's not only at Christmas when we squeeze Jesus out of the picture. This week, we're focusing on Jesus in our audio devotionals. Today, the frustration to get some "Jesus time" with kids dominating every minute.

Instead of racing through a five-minute “hello-good bye” with Jesus, how can you make more time for him so you enjoy the relationship?

Jesus understands you’re overwhelmed with raising your kids. Don’t feel guilty when your time with the Lord is inconsistent.

Today, I'll offer solutions so the coming year can be different.

Isaiah 40:29-31 (NIV)

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
