  • New York State of Sports Ep 86 - Jalen Brunson Returns For Knicks
    2025/04/07
On this episode of New York State Of Sports, Ricky K begins the show by talking about the Yankees and Mets both being off to 6-3 starts after 9 games. The Mets are on a 4-game win streak and their pitching has been one of the best in baseball. Meanwhile, the Yankees offense is getting a lot of production from the bottom of the order, but their pitching is a concern due to lack of innings from the starters.

Ricky talks about Jalen Brunson making his return for the Knicks as the franchise has now won 50 games in a season in back-to-back years and St. John's adds another impact player in the transfer portal.

In the NHL, the Islanders were witness to history from Alexander Ovechkin while the Rangers season might be history after another lackluster loss against the Devils. Speaking of the Devils, they are close to clinching a playoff spot.

Finally, Ricky dives into the latest NFL Draft rumors for the Giants and Jets and it was a good week for the Red Bulls while NYCFC took a home loss.
