Fixed Assets Procurement,Accounting , Depreciating and

discarding.

Necessarily if a Fixed Asset Procurement cost is even less than the allowed threshold of 5000 as per the statute ( In India ) or whatever is allowed as per the laws of the geography of such entity, even then it could be capitalised and vice versa if the cost is much higher even then it may not be considered as an Asset and can be expensed off.

In a nutshell , depends on case to case basis and nature and the accrual of benefits of spends on such item.

PS: A slight advice here.PO is received after sharing the available inventory and the customer having consented to such stock available by raising a Purchase Order.

Alternatively, post the receipt of status, the PO may be got revised.

So depends on case to case basis.
